Quick Album Review: Verzache - ‘My Head is a Moshpit’
The bedroom pop king, Verzache, released his sophomore album My Head is a Moshpit. On this monster 19 song studio record, he slays us with heartfelt and catchy ballads.
Verzache has a unique finesse with the genre because of his electronic roots, making this album infectious.
Zach Farache, Verzache, began releasing eclectic 808 heavy, trap-esque electronic beats on SoundCloud in 2014. Unlike his past projects, My Head is a Moshpit is a mosaic of melodic rap that highlights the evolution of his genius and confidence as a singer/songwriter.
The Toronto singer tells Apple Music, “My Head Is a Moshpit symbolizes who I really am, and what I've gone through over the past few years, from relationships to mental health shit. It describes how I feel in my head with all these things I'm struggling with and not being able to hold it in place. It's like all your thoughts are just attacking each other.”
Here are the best moments of the album:
“All I Need”
“Messed Up”
“Think About It”
“Figure It Out”
“Time”
