Emotional Oranges ft. Biig Piig - “Body & Soul”
L.A. duo Emotional Oranges teamed up with Biig Piig on their new single “Body & Soul.” Emotional Oranges have already dropped “All That” with Channel Tres and “Bonafide” with Chiiild for their next project, JUICEBOX.
“Body & Soul” is a feel-good track. Both Emotional Oranges and Biig Piig play around with elements of neo-soul and R&B with deep, jazzy beats that genuinely feel good in your body. They add elements of hip-hop and rap to their lyrics which modernize their whole vibe.
This track is about spending time with and embracing a new or old lover. The bridge is actually from one of the first songs the duo ever recorded – they used the same verse to create an entirely different theme.
The music video dropped alongside the single is beautifully simple. The three artists on this track are effortlessly cool just standing around singing. That is all this video needed to compliment the song.
Biig Piig has been gaining heat this year with her catchy, alternative single “Feels Right” from last fall. Emotional Oranges have been previewing JUICEBOX since October of 2020, making this third single drop very exciting.
We can hope to have that album soon with other dope features like Becky G and Vince Staples, and more creatively crafted songs that will no doubt be stuck in your head.
