deadmau5 - “Nextra”

The canadian DJ/producer deadmau5 just released a deep techno single “Nextra.”

This is the first single for his music imprint “hau5trap,” a label he started to “support more things we love specifically in house music.” The project is a multifaceted home for global electronic pioneers within the house music space.

The intro of the track is a simple house downtempo beat that builds to something a little juicer around one minute in.

Around minute 2 I was a little bored; however, I honestly totally get where he’s going with this single and it makes sense. He's getting back to the basics for the love of house music.

I am so excited for the rest of what’s to come – this single really left me craving more. If a song could be bread and butter deadmau5, it's this one.
