“Gravity” - Brent Faiyaz & DJ Dahi ft. Tyler, the Creator

“Gravity,” the latest R&B hit by Brent Faiyaz & producer DJ Dahi is a song worth listening to on repeat. Featuring Tyler, The Creator, this serene piece follows both the romantic tones of Faiyaz and Tyler’s per-usual captivating energy. 

DJ Dahi has produced several tracks for notable artists including Mac Miller, Dr. Dre, Freddie Gibbs, Vince Staples, Vic Mensa, Casey Veggies, Smoke DZA, Big Sean, Logic, and Childish Gambino among several others. The quality production on this song is no exception.

Teaming up with Tyler, The Creator was also an excellent move; their vocals blend together beautifully.

Throughout the song, the two artists debate the complexities of love and not being ready for a relationship, backed by a soulful groove and blissful melody.

When Fiayaz was in the process of making this song, he told his friend “I want to make some shit Martians will listen to.” This creatively crafted single sends you out of this world on a steady drum beat. 

“Gravity” follows the release of Fiayaz’s album Fuck the World from last February, finally giving fans new music to excite about.  

In a recent interview, Faiyaz shared that “the sky’s the limit.” Much like the themes of this song, he doesn't want to be held back by anyone or anything. 

Brent Fiayaz is certainly an artist to keep track of; I expect even bigger and better projects from him in the future.
