Galantis “Dandelion”

January 8 was a glorious New Music Friday for dance music fans – we got remixes and singles from artists such as Jai Wolf, Oliver Heldens, Deadmau5 and What So Not. 

Amidst the flurry of releases, Galantis made themselves heard by dropping their latest single with vocalist JVKE.  

If you’re unfamiliar with them, Galantis is a popular progressive house duo consisting of DJs Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklow.  They are the producers behind wildly popular mainstage festival anthems like “Runaway (U & I),” “No Money,” and “Peanut Butter Jelly.”  

Their newest single “Dandelion” is a playful, folksy, pop-house track.  It almost gives you the sensation of floating through a dreamland. 

Imagine you are 5 years old again and you’re skipping through a field of flowers, rainbows and all that sweet stuff – that’s the feeling this song elicits. 

It’s a definite mood booster in what’s otherwise been a pretty garbage first week of 2021.
